It makes sense and I don't know websites that require bigger minimum withdrawal compares to minimum deposit so BetHog likely follows a standard in the industry.
It makes sense indeed and I’m sure most users will like it, but I’m not that certain that this is the standard in the online casino industry!
In most casinos, at least the ones I hve played at and tested, the minimum deposit is usually lower than the minimum withdrawal. This is understandable since they want to make it easier for users to deposit and keep them playing and spend as much as possible by preventing small withdrawals.
I’m not sure why BetHog chose this different approach!
Having higher min deposit than minimum withdrawal is not a standard practice in this gambling industry, most other casinos usually come with lower min deposit than min withdrawal or equal min deposit/withdrawal.
At least on some casinos where I used to play, the min deposit is usually lower than the min withdrawal so basically bethog seems to be the first or maybe only few casinos that use the same strategy as bethog.
They should consider to reduce the min deposit if they want to get more players especially players with small-medium bankroll because $20 can be said as big enough for small players.
