It is not just a should, but people, regardless of their status in society and religion, have the right to speak their opinion. Of course, it doesn't mean the government always agrees with their stance. They will also consider the impact on the country, especially when it comes to revenue.

But I don't think gambling should be banned because of addiction. Stopping is not the best solution. Instead, the government will take a look at how to place gambling on the right platform and in the right place. Perhaps, that is the issue now in the country, and making it not easily accessible could discourage gamblers.
