I'm also being skeptic to Xabi's Madrid now. Not because they perform badly, but they're too depending on their superstars. It's time for them to build a collective club that is not always relying upon individual brilliance. The only way is that by starting to remove their superstar such as Rodrygo. I know he's young and well developed, but can't blend to the system well.
However, if you ask me which player to remove. I'd prefer Vini over Rodrygo. It's because Vini's selfishness much more destructive to the club.
Xabi Alonso has proven that he can build a team with even strengths across all departments when he was coach of Leverkusen, so I think he could do the same thing again with Real Madrid in the future.
At this point, we can't make any judgments because Xabi Alonso is new to Real Madrid and still needs time to adapt.
Regardless of who Xabi Alonso chooses, I'm quite optimistic that Xabi Alonso can make Real Madrid even better.
And it's also important to remember that Real Madrid are the Champions League champions, so they must remain a force to be reckoned with no matter the circumstances.
We'll see...  i don't think his club can perform like what he wanted by still having some star syndrome players there. I admit their main problem was defense last season, but after i watched their last games like the problems are more than it. Lack of defense from their forwards have to be their main problem as well.
I've seen enough how their forwards are so damn lazy in helping in defense nor pressing their opponent. They always walking on the pitch.
