I think the FIFA Club World Cup says a lot about the EPL being the most competitive league there is because of all the top clubs PSG encountered throughout the season only EPL clubs were able to give them much problems. I give Chelsea their flowers for winning the CWC it was worth the journey. Chelsea have done very well by validating that the EPL is a what they say it is.
For the final of FIFA club world cup, odds were heavily in favour of PSG because of factors like their performance in the tournament, strong defence (conceded only one goal before the final). But what Chelsea has done in the final was not in anyone mind. Chelsea finished forth in EPL last season while PSG is not only top team of french league but also current UEFA Champions league winner.
