They don't lose anything by saying something and if anything loses, it is their reputation only. I am so doubtful that politicians care about that while they look at support and votes for winning election or pass kind of bills in the Congress. Bitcoin adoption has been uprising considerably since 2009 and it is explainable why politicians in 2025 and recent years have changed their stance on Bitcoin and show more interest in Bitcoin or support it.
They have indeed taken a U-turn and are using bitcoin as a new scapegoat to buy votes of the people who are enthusiastic about cryptocurrency. It shows the normal habit of the politicians to take up an object and use it as a method to gain votes, similar examples can be found the past.

On the bright side, bitcoin has crossed 121k USD and we are reaching new highs, I guess some selling pressure is going to come in after this but we can handle that. If this price consolidates, we have a good chance to start looking forward to 150k USD soon.
That’s the narrative of those incoming politicians, they use crypto because they know there’s a lot of users in it their country, it’s the global trend! After that they will just ruin everything, the flow and the market due to their global issues. I really like how global adaptation is happening, what I don’t like is that these countries or politicians take advantage of the market and manipulating it using their influence. But since we’ve reached 121k, there are too many green signs and I hope global issues will be stopped for BTC to have a consistent run.
