But even if they have the money will FFP let them finish that deal? Manchester City still have a case waiting for them due to hundreds of breaches though.

The news popped right out of nowhere and might be looking like a decent possibility, I don't know if Liverpool would still be in compliance with the FFP rules if they're to finalize the deal outrightly with they already spent on Wirtz, but we all know Liverpool does have the money, so it's going to be a case of whether or not Newcastle are willing to sell as well, then we might just have another "Mbappe to PSG" kind of deal, disguised as a loan for the first year with mandatory purchase, or payment in installments.
