That's true. Although some lessons have to be experienced to be learned, avoiding silly mistakes can go a long way. Learning from others would mean reaching out to/ reading from true crimes and confessions althrough the period of the horrible experiences they've had.

I haven't read about the story from the link below, but the self-awareness on matters that concerns bad decision in gambling was enough to put me in my place. I don't gamble what I can't afford to lose.
