I wasn’t planning to post about football here but watching Chelsea dismantle PSG 3-0 in the Club World Cup final got me thinking, football and crypto might just be running parallel hustles at this point.

Think about it, Chelsea went from banter club to world champions, and now you can’t scroll past their win without spotting a crypto logo somewhere. The boys literally prayed before the match (there’s a pic of the whole squad kneeling mid-pitch), Twitter went mad about it, some calling it a crusade 😂. Yet, they humbled PSG with ease.

Meanwhile crypto is out here doing its own flex, BTC flying past ATHs, AI tokens popping, and exchanges riding the football clout wave. Anyone giving out the new 25/26 Chelsea training kits ? Need one as part of their win ahaha

So I’m just curious, does this whole crypto x football thing actually have legs? Or is it just marketing noise until the next bear market? I know we’ve seen fan tokens flop here and there, What do you lot think? Are we gonna see real crypto adoption through sports
