The problem is that these people deposit their Bitcoins on any random website they see on the Google Search engine. This thread is full of newbie accounts, which means that lots of them have no idea about the existence of Bitcointalk or ignore this website but they only come when they get scammed by freebitco and then type freebitco scam on Google Search and get Bitcointalk threads in result. That's when they come here, register and post their issues.
If people had the habit of checking the casino of bitcointalk.org at first before registering on the website, then they wouldn't have so many issues.
I think the source of that problem is in the advertisement by users who are still trying to gather more referrals. In their ads they don't talk about the issues this site is having, but instead only promise big earning and big rewards and whatnot just to convince the newbies to sign up. And their ads look like reviews that can create this false sense of security for the newbie.
This is most probably why they don't search more in other sources...
To be fair, I haven't seen Freebitco's advertisements for a long time but who is advertising these days to collect referrals? Freebitco is broken for everyone, payment issues are for everyone, so who will be promoting freebitco to collect referrals? And this issue has been going for months.
I know that 1xBit has ongoing marketing and their ads pop on many websites, so I'm not surprised when people still come up with issues to these days.
Btw I found this format warning act from the Australian Government toward Freebitco.in -
Formal Warning PDF letterFreebitco banned German customers because of the demand of German regulations. Does anyone know if they respond to Aussie demand? I'll be surprised if they renew their domain in the next few months before the expiry date.
