Igebotz, that Wirtz sidebet is a losing one for me in all likelihood, but at least I'll have the cash to pay you come May 2026..!
Isn't that dude the best midfielder in the world? Well, Saka and Foden couldn't do it, I don't see any midfielder outscoring Palmer next season.
In Bundesliga for sure, but Palmer was the best player in Premier League in 2024. So yes, if he doesn't outscore/assist everyone else, it would be a major disappointment. I will kiss an early goodbye to my FPL if I don't have minimum 6 G/A from my midfield for each of the first three gameweeks.
I just confirmed sponsorships for LA liga and Serie A pools. We will again have 2000$ each from Sportsbet plus free bets.
I will renew the pools and change escrow (old one now has a lot of history, time to mix it up a bit) and then ask for funds asap so they have more time to grow.
For the time being let me know guys how big buy in you would like?
I would prefer to keep it 1 mBTC but maybe we have to go down to 0.5 mBTC to make it more accessible?
Let me know your thoughts.
But, IIRC we payed 1mbtc last season? If so, then I think it should be 0.5mbtc this season. I'm just saying this basically this means we are paying the same value of dollars, if actually not more this season ahead, while if we kept it to 1mbtc then we are asking people to double their expenses on pools.
I just checked, the fees for Serie A and La Liga were 1mbtc each. That was just a little over $60. If we paid that today, we'd be paying almost $120. I can definitely see how that might be a problem for some people earning in dollar values, but instinctively, if we're looking at regulars, 1mbtc is always 1mbtc. So I'm happy either way, but perhaps to extend considerations, I think 0.5 is appropriate.
Prem League pool I think has always had the highest fee, so that one will absolutely need a rethink.
P.S. Champions League opens a few months later, so depending on where Bitcoin goes from here, that may also have to seriously look at adjusting the fee.
