Musk goes political: forms party to support BTC, rejects fiat
Elon Musk launched the America Party, positioning it as a pro-Bitcoin, anti-fiat alternative to the existing political system.
Trump criticized the move, accusing Musk of fueling political chaos.
The moral of the story is to never trust anything politicians say. One day he says he supports Bitcoin, but the next day he might say he only supports his shitcoin because it's outdated. There are many examples of politicians switching sides to gain support. The most obvious example is Trump, who once said Bitcoin was a scam, but today he's embracing it. And the same could very well happen to Musk—who also initially supported Trump, but now they seem to be on opposite sides. Does someone like this seem trustworthy? Just think twice.
