every story of gambling addiction tells of one thing and that is the fact that the victims where either greedy or that they got carried away because of there win or that of others and then allowed things to go south in the process. what kept me safe from gambling is that i don't gamble as though that is the route to my financial end. i do it when i want to and when i don't feel like gambling, i don't allow external pressure affect me. regardless of how certain i am about a bet, i only gamble with the amount i have always set out and nothing more. zero pressure to do what others are doing when i am not too sure of it and sticking to what works for me.
