Yes, his first season isn't going better. 103 points in 12 races so far. He might even collect less points than last season - in which he got 223 points.

But things might be different in 2026. Cars will be way different than now. Besides I'd like to trust Hamilton's instincts again. He made a right decision by joining Mercedes in the past. Let's see if he improves the title record before retirement.  Smiley

The hype is still there but Ferrari doesn't have a proper car for years so all that hype is in vain and the ones to blame is Ferrari with their entire F1 team. They could have 5 cars on the grid this year and they still couldn't fight for the championship and as a Ferrari fan ...I really cannot trust this team to actually deliver performance and make us fans happy.

If somehow Hamilton will have 2-3 more seasons in F1 then I'm sure he will develop a championship winning car with Ferrari but I think Leclerc will be the one who will become F1 WC.

Man but is not a comparisson to do.

Hamilton is now old, and Ferrari is making shitbox after shitbox, i never feel the hype of seeing him winning the world title in this season with a team like that. Lets see if in 2026 they can build a much better car, but i dont think that is gonna happen at all. They keep making failure after failure no matter what.
