What if an incentive was offered when you make your first withdrawal, like a bonus or cashback, in exchange for doing KYC?

Would that make it more acceptable, or would it still put you off?

That might get you more newbie gamblers who might do it only for the incentive, but seasonal players and pros wouldn't care about that, and they would only use your platform if they believe it's secure and trustworthy, and that is the only thing that might make someone do KYC on a platform. If I know that a platform is new and untrustworthy, they don't have a valid license or regulation, I might not be interested in it because I wouldn't feel safe, even if they aren't asking for KYC, I will at least be depositing money with them. In such cases, decentralized platforms might perform better since they allow connecting the wallet instead of creating an account.

I also wonder what a casino might face if they are operating within countries where authorities aren't in favor of unregulated platforms or businesses, and if you don't acquire a license, they might not let you operate that way, and when you go with a license, you will most probably have to ask your customers to complete KYC verification since that is a requirement from the authorities providing you licensing.
