Rich countries, of course, act in ways that will make them money, and they invest accordingly. Of course, they'll do whatever it takes to make more money. That's why they support Bitcoin; people with money can earn much more.
Other people, meanwhile, are trying to make money with Bitcoin, seizing opportunities to achieve a new life Smiley
Not all wealthy countries support bitcoin - some even still ban bitcoin to some extent. Over time, governments have certainly changed their perspective on bitcoin and are beginning to see the need to support it and discuss its use as a national reserve asset. They know bitcoin has significant long-term potential, so banning it entirely would simply deprive them of an opportunity to generate more revenue.

Some wealthy nations may have invested quietly, but others have publicly announced their support and adoption of bitcoin. In the future, we'll see more countries openly supporting bitcoin and investing on it and of course, this won't be a surprise.
