If Atalanta is asking for only €50 million for Ademola Lookman, then I think Inter Milan management should make it a fast deal and sign the Nigerian winger. We saw how they had an almost great season but weren't able to either win the league or the UEFA Champions League title despite reaching the final where they were humiliated by Paris Saint Germaine. In the just concluded FIFA Club World Cup, Inter Milan were also shown the exit door by a Brazilian club. I don't think all these would have happened if they had a pacy and skillful Ademola Lookman in the team. They need to reclaim their position of dominating the Italian league and signing the current African Best player I think will be a great move in achieving that
I agree with you, Inter are not suppose to waste time on this deal except they are not interested to cash in on this very good player. Atalanta might be making a mistake by selling the player Lookman and if they do I don't see them as good as they used to be, Ademola brings life to the game for Atalanta and it will be a great loss, his marking, scoring, dribbling ability and always on the run to make things happen, he has got it all to make a team much stronger.
Inter Milan became different ever since they lost to PSG and is like they hasn't gotten over it, even in the just concluded FIFA Club World Cup they played like an amateur team that no department is functioning. They need to start getting new players and not just Lookman if not it will be another disappointing season ahead of them.
