I read this quote long ago, and I have been learning from others ever since
I know people irl who destroyed themselves/their families by gambling activities, there is this story of Mahabharta [1] where king Yudhisthira was led to ruins by gambling — so what saved you from doing stupid in gambling?
I have not been badly addicted to gambling to the extent of doing something stupid like betting all my savings. My case have, I would say, is just normal growth process for everyone that gambles, because to grow in gambling, you must have tried different things like Martingale strategy, not making withdrawals after a big win and increasing the bet amount because you hope that you will win more as luck seems to be on your side. These and many other mistakes are normal for experience and growth of the person that gambles and could actually be fun.I read this quote long ago, and I have been learning from others ever since
