Not sure how to format this properly, but basically, the linked video goes over a situation where large payment processors (like visa, Mastercard, PayPal, etc) have pressured steam into removing some games from the platform entirely. Currently, they only targeted some “adult-only” games, but it shows that these companies have the power to basically censor what you can buy on steam (and possibly everywhere else). Bitcoin is a possible solution, but it’s unlikely considering steam’s history with bitpay, and the volatility of bitcoin’s value.
