Tying up your money in Bitcoin during a prolonged dip can mean missing out on other investments that perform better during the time of the dip because one can use the capital used in buying in the dip to invest in other areas such as stocks, real estate etc so buying in the dip can make one to miss other investment prospects when the price is not up early
I really don't get your point but what I have to say is that it's not really necessary to wait for the dip before investing in bitcoin and why is simply because while waiting the investor would miss lots of opportunities the market is very volatile and can't act according to the point the investor want it to drop before investing so instead of waiting it's best to just DCA and still buy whenever the dip occurs while on the DCA  strategy.

I don't really get what you're saying here because using an amount that should have been used to buy bitcoin at DIP price to invest in stocks or real estate does not make any sense at all. Do you think that real estate is something you will just dive into without enough funds. There is nothing bad is waiting for a DIP if you have some bitcoins already since the market experiences corrections which most people see as opportunity to buy at lower price but let it not be that as a beginner you just start with that approach of waiting for a DIP price to buy. As an investor there is need to have reserved funds which can serve for buying bitcoins when the price DIPs.
You must have started your investment then buy the dip when the opportunity comes, it's wrong for an investor that's not yet started to wait for a dip before investing although it's a thing of choice but that's not the right path for an investor, like I said earlier an investor should wait for a dip before investing they can start at any point with the DCA and still buy when a dip occurs during the DCA process.
