Yeah! we know you’re glad to be here, everyone is glad to be here as well but we don’t need more and more post telling “hey I’m new”.. Your account rank is Newbie and everyone knows you’re new from the rank , you don’t need another declaration unless your account is not truly new

.You probably made this post trying to show that you care about the forum and you are against posts or threads with no actual purpose, but that's not how you do it. You sounded too rude with that response, and it was truly unnecessary. You don't need to scare away newbies joining the forum, regardless of their purpose, because some of them could be the future of this forum, and they might carry the legacy forward when none of us old members are around anymore.
It doesn't bring any harm to the forum if a newbie creates a greeting thread out of excitement after joining the forum, that too in the section that is created specifically for beginners. What we, old and experienced members, need to do is welcome them, and show them the things that they need to know about the forum and what they should and shouldn't do instead of getting rude with them.
So, please don't do this.
