You should include that in your platform; all major casinos have it, and you will eventually need this to avoid cheaters from abusing your platform.
This is also done due to that.

Many casinos run a lot of bonuses and giveaways and even they are for pennies. You'd see abusers there left and right.

So in order for them to lessen the abusers or complete annihilate them, they have to move with KYC and ask that for every user.

I've seen online casinos before that went bankrupt fast because of that mistake. They are KYC-free and since they are new and want to attract new users to their platform, they give bonuses and giveaways to them.

Not realizing there is an exploit to their promotion that there is no restriction to withdraw it, their website shutdown in less than a week since new users created multiple accounts to grab the bonus. Withdrawals were automated so it was too late before they realize the loophole and halted the outgoing transactions.

KYC then has become mandatory because of this reason aside from security purposes.
That's right, abusers will go where the money is and they think they can rig the promotions and bonuses. They are outsmarting these casinos thinking that it's a good way to gain more users.

But they've been cheated on and that's why they have to do something such as kyc compliance.

So, we can understand on their end what they have to do that. Not just about the regulations but also with situations like this.
