What I know is that there may be a reason why Modric decided to play for AC Milan instead of retiring at Real Madrid. It’s possible that Real Madrid didn’t want to extend his contract, or it may have been his own wish to try playing in another league.either way, Modric is not a bad player despite his age he’s still performing well. Even though Real Madrid did not perform at their best, I still noticed his contributions to the team.
Now that he has signed for AC Milan, it’s possible he could still win a trophy there. It may not be the Serie A title, but it could be another competition trophy. I don’t think AC Milan can win the Serie A title with their current squad, but let’s see how it goes for him at AC Milan. Modric signed a year deal with AC Milan, I don't believe the player will want to extend his contract with the team after the next season, because he will be 40 before the end of the season, and it will be impossible to continue at that age in Europe.
Luka Modric is currently not at the top level enough to help a team win a title. It’s impossible for someone going to 40 unless AC Milan has top players who can do that next season. If AC Milan has top players who can be consistent throughout the season, I believe they will be able to win the Serie A since they will not compete in any European competition next season, so their focus will be just winning the league and finishing in a good position.
