I was very disappointed to England womem team they played well in bat but they bowled very poor. India women team showcased talented skills and determination in 1st match. I hope England women team they will play better in the 2nd matches which will play tomorrow. England womem team set a record total runs for 258 and lost the match unfortunately. India team chased a total record runs for 262 and wining the match. India women won big lead 4 wickets and 10 balls. The 1st match between india and England team was played at The Rose Bowl ground. England team won the toss and elected to batting first. The best of luck both team for their upcoming matches. The best batting performance in India team was showed by Deepti Sharma scored 62 runs and 64 balls hitting 3 fours and 1 sixs
I think the target given by England women was not a very big score. 258 runs in ODI format was not huge, because scoring 259 runs off 300 balls was not very difficult. However, the match was very exciting, but if England women scored 280+, maybe England women would have won. England women's top order batsmen did not do well, if the top order batsmen could do well their scores would have been bigger. However, India Women won the 1st match to take a 1-0 lead in the series. So England women have to take the next matches seriously, England women have to improve both their batting and bowling lines, otherwise England women will not win. But I think England women will lose ODI series like T20 series.
