I read a post saying that here in our country, the government has started cracking down on illegal casinos, and they’re also looking into ways to get vloggers promoting them banned from their social media accounts. I even saw some of the names mentioned, the top one had 13 million followers, followed by another with 9 million.
I'm not sure how these bloggers will get a social media ban since their respective accounts are owned by a social media platform that is out of the jurisdiction of the local authorities. Not unless the authorities will seek help from the social media platforms directly to ban these accounts for promoting illegal gambling?
What might be applied is filing a case against these bloggers for promoting illegal online gambling sites. There are lot of evidence through streaming history that can be used. I'd like that to happen so that these vlogger's images will be ruined and hoping that it will decrease the number of their followers.
They probably got paid a huge amount to promote gambling, but they didn’t think about the consequences.
Some good vloggers posted big offers they received to promote gambling. The amount offered is hard to resist.
But they insisted and didn't accept the offer. Kudos to them!
