This question may have been asked before, but I wanted to reiterate.

It occurred to me because when I signed up at a new casino, the odds of winning were quite high. I didn't know if it was just coincidence or if it was designed to win. After using the same account for a while, the win rate decreased. I excluded sports betting.

So what do you think?

Are the odds of winning the same on a new and old account?

Perhaps this is also the reason many casinos prohibit the use of multiple accounts.

Or is it just a matter of certain casinos?

It's only anecdotal but I have definitely felt like new players are put through a "honeymoon" experience that is engineered to make the site look like its possible to win more than average. Sometimes it seems to wear off after 24 hours and sometimes I've seen it I to 72 hours, but it is just a feeling rather than there being any solid evidence. It would absolutely make sense from the casino owners perspective, you want to make new players feel like they've found a site they can win on, so you'll take a few losses early on because gambling psychology dictates that whole some people might "take the money and run" the majority will actually keep coming back and depositing more.
