When I first saw the report earlier today that Manchester United have shown interest in signing Nicholas Jackson on X, I went under the comment section to see hundreds of Manchester United fans condemning the move by the club management to sign the Senegalese striker. Now in real context, the Chelsea forward had a better goal record than anyone of Manchester United top 9 strikers last season.. currently, Manchester United have Joshua Zirkzee and Rasmund Hoijlund to rely on in the striker's role but we already know that Jackson is a more prolific striker than the two players for a team who are trying to return to the top four next season after finish in the bottom half of the table last season, signing Nicholas Jackson I don't think will be a bad idea.
The comment section on such transfers will show that fans don't endorse this suggested move from Manchester Utds management, but then again this could be united playing mind games to tell those planning to comeback to the club that their positions aren't available for them after showing us that they are bigger than the club...
Nicholas Jackson might not be the best striker in England at the moment but I don't think he's far from being the ideal striker the 20-time English champions wants.
Agreed, Nicholas isn't as bad as the painted picture but unfortunately his not just the right fit for that position.
