I was really thinking about Yamal being the new Messi and for sure he have everything to be that kind of player but also I think outside the pitch he started to show some pretty bad behavior more similar to Neymar or a Brazilian player than Messi, now that doesn't matter because he is still young but when he start to become old..... It can be a problem.
People keep complaining about Yamal's off-pitch behaviours, and I am struggling to see what he has done wrong. What is that horrible thing he did that everybody just agrees he is turning into something bad?
Is it the vacation? It's the off-season, and he's supposed to be on vacation. The party? It was a normal big birthday party with teammates, friends and family. I still don't see anything wrong with that. We have to know that Messi is a different profile from Yamal. Messi was an introvert, and Yamal is the opposite of that, and I don't see any wrong with that.
When they mention him hanging out with Neymar as a problem, I laugh because what is wrong with that? Was it partying and holidays that ruined Neymar's career? No. It was injuries and most times, there is nothing you can do about that. Neymar is a player who has 443 goals and 257 assists in his career, aside from Messi and Ronaldo, I don't think there's any winger that has those numbers I football history. If Yamal is going to have those numbers in Barcelona, don't you think he has had a good career? Despite the kind of legends Brazil has produced in the history of football, Neymar is the highest goal scorer in their history. So I don't think Neymar is a bad company to keep.
As long as the player is working really hard and is ambitious, I don't care about the life he lives outside of the pitch, as long as he's not doing unlawful stuff. Hanging out with women, vacations, and parties during the off season is part of the superstar lifestyle. Even Messi partied hard for his 25th birthday. There is nothing Yamal is doing that has not been done by other legends.
