Is this going to be the last time we'd hear Manchester United struggling to get this player since they have been forced to pay the required £70m? I hope they get this very player Mbeumo to join them. I think this £70m came out after Newcastle turned their attention to get Mbeumo, like the transfer market is getting hotter and hotter. Liverpool went on to get the striker Hugo Ekitike that Newcastle was suppose to get and they (Newcastle) saw that they couldn't make move for Hugo Ekitike that was why they turned to get Mbeumo and that pushed Manchester United woke up to splash in the £70m to get the player.
Exactly, UTD are afraid of losing in on that bid and it would be a shameful thing if the had lost that bid for Newcastle. I ones said it that clubs that are serious in this transfer window are not much and the teams we believed would get important signings are many but they are not doing it properly. Man UTD need to regroup if not this coming season might be worse than that of last campaign. Man UTD are trying to show Brentford that they are also businessmen not that the money isn't there, they need to try as much as they can to buy the player at a lower price but this move Newcastle made is something that pushed Man UTD to pay up without any further negotiation.
