People who doubt Xabi Alonso just because he lost to PSG don't understand the process of football. It usually comes from an instant gratification mindset. So basically, he just wants a team like Real Madrid to be unbeaten, score lots of goals and perform perfectly in every game. How ridiculous is it to doubt Xabi and recommend which coach again?
You are right, Now is not the right time to judge Xabi Alonso, rather it is too early. A change of coach alone is not enough to change the performance of the team. Rather, the players have to change themselves to adapt to the new coach's strategy. Even is the responsibility of a coach alone for losing matches? I would say, no. The main responsibility of a coach is to work hard to improve the team's performance and familiarize his team with different strategies. Then to stabilize with an effective strategy. Another thing is to sign players according to the needs of the team. But have we given Xabi Alonso enough time to do all this? Is now the right time to get results? We should give more importance to how hard the coach is working and how effective his strategy is. Not being able to play according to the strategy is the failure of the players. Even it is normal for the players to take time to adapt to a new coach and new strategy.
