I’m building a new crypto gambling site and I want to get a sense of how much people care about KYC.
Do you avoid sites that ask for it? Or do you not mind as long as the site is good and trustworthy?
Also, are there any gambling sites that actually handle KYC well or make it painless?
Curious to hear your thoughts.
I’ve never had to do KYC for betting before, but I’m generally okay with it, especially since I’ve done KYC on trading platforms. If a gambling site asks for KYC with a valid reason, that’s understandable. However, requiring KYC just to make a deposit or withdrawal looks a bad move, particularly for a betting site. It should only be necessary when there’s a urgent need.
You don't mean. What gambling site is that? Is it a decentralised gambling site? Because if it's not then be rest assured that it's just a matter of time before you will be requested to pass KYC, and be it for deposit or withdrawal purposes it doesn't really matter, you'll just have to pass it in order to be able to continuously use their services.
