Liverpool's striker hunt for Alexander Isak has stopped, this is because Newcastle will not sell him. Liverpool are now turning their attention to Eintracht Frankfurt's Hugo Ekitike. It is known that Frankfurt rejected Newcastle's official offer of £70 million. Other news Frankfurt believes there are clubs interested in paying Ekitike £ 85 million. They are eyeing Ekitike because he is a young Isak who is developing.

I wish Liverpool the best in their hunt the same way the various players also, this is something now happening in situation whereby players will be expecting to get offer from a specific club of his interest and you then see that the same club is not interested in signing such player, it also continues that the clubs may be inviting for a player and bid for their release from their team to play for them, but they don't agree to sell such player for them for their own reasons, all these are what constitutes more fun in the football speculations as we continue to watch how things transpired from there.
This has always been the trend in football transfers, most clubs won't sell their elite player to a rival club or a club within the same league, they might want to sell him to another club in another league. it's just a handful of clubs you will notice them selling their A-list player to a club within the same league, at best they will allow them go for loan and it's even on a rare occasion. I knew from the start that Newcastle won't sell Alexander isak to Liverpool, that has been their number 1 talisman, and Newcastle will be competing for the domestic league and European competitions too, so they need him, at best they will review his contract and increase his wages just to make him stay.
