So now i am back to electrum and i use 2fa code + very strong password. My question is , is that safe enough or what can i do to improve the security? Are there still cases of stolen funds from electrum? The nightmare of loosing all my balance still gives me goosebumps honestely .
It depends.
Your 2FA wallet has a seed phrase. If someone can gain access to that seed phrase can steal your fund without any need to your password or your 2FA code.
If you have generated that seed phrase on an online device and your device is infected with a malware, your fund is at risk.
If you are keeping that seed phrase on an online device, your wallet is prone to hacking.
Also, if you have your 2FA application and your wallet file at the same device, you don't really get the benefit of 2FA feature.
