Is this going to be the last time we'd hear Manchester United struggling to get this player since they have been forced to pay the required £70m? I hope they get this very player Mbeumo to join them. I think this £70m came out after Newcastle turned their attention to get Mbeumo, like the transfer market is getting hotter and hotter. Liverpool went on to get the striker Hugo Ekitike that Newcastle was suppose to get and they (Newcastle) saw that they couldn't make move for Hugo Ekitike that was why they turned to get Mbeumo and that pushed Manchester United woke up to splash in the £70m to get the player.
I hope it's going to be the last time we see the news about MU and Mbeumo. I'm getting very bored to see the merchant news keep release the same topic about him, and MU. Meanwhile, the talk between MU and his club always stalled. Splashing £70m for Mbeumo is really worth it.
They must stop to sign non PL striker, and go to the PL proven striker directly.

If they can pay Cunha for £62.5m, which is having worsen stats than Mbeumo. Why can't they splash £70m for Mbeumo, which is having superior stats over Cunha? that's simple logic.

I think I agree with you because all the strikers they have are from outside the EPL which whenever they come in they find it hard to adapt and before you know it the best strikers they hype from the beginning will be struggling to get up to 10 goals in a season, it is only few players who are from outside the EPL that do make it in the EPL, someone like Alexander Isak and some other strikers I can't remember to mention. UTD need to go back to the championship and get players who knows, it can be a great addition to the team...have said something like this before.
Cunha is not up to Mbeumo stats because of the club he find himself and you'd agree with me that for the past 3 seasons that Brentford have been better than Wolves since before they got promoted to the EPL. The Bees always produce better players right from when they came into the EPL and they haven't failed till today while Wolves haven't been consistent in producing good players and they are good at selling their good players without replacement. Let's hope we don't hear of UTD and Brentford again.
