Some casinos will give you back good % of your net losses every week, but only if you keep playing for their tiered VIP system. Does the rebate really make us take smarter risks, or does it trick us into going after losses we would normally just walk away from?
I think the obvious answer is the latter. They wanted us to play more with our money and so we go and try to recover from our initial loses. Although I don't think that the rebate is enough for you to win as it is just small compared to what you might have lost already. Unless you are really that lucky that in the first spin let's say in a slot will give you at least good money. But then again, it's the gamblers mentality, if you think that you win and lucky then you will continue to go on until it's too late that you lose everything again. Maybe you can say that it's trick by casinos. But for me it is still up to us gamblers, to know when to stop and take that win from our rebate or just stop for a while even though we have a rebate.
