For the last few seasons we have seen the feebleness of Juventus attacking players. Since the midfield and attack are not strong enough, Juventus are forced to play defensively. For the last 4 seasons we have seen Juventus not being able to score even 60 goals. If Juventus target for next season was to win the title, then the team would have tried to strengthen their attacking side.
Juventus bought Nico Gonzalez this season. But Gonzalez is not an experienced player. So it is foolish to expect too much from this winger. Next season too, Juventus will fight only to qualify for the Champions League. The team does not have the ability to dominate Serie A.
If this approach to acquiring new players continues, I don't think Juventus will be a title contender next season in Serie A, and they won't even be able to do much in more challenging competitions like the UCL. I'm still looking at Inter Milan and several other teams as potential title contenders next season, as teams like Napoli, Inter, and Roma are teams that cannot be underestimated and often pulled off unexpected surprises last season.
