Have You Ever Felt Like Gambling Was Affecting Your Life Negatively? And if so how?

It's just a self-reflection on my end, again, I felt sad that there are young gamblers taking someone's life because of their addiction. And then they disposed of the body just like that, but they surrendered to the authorities after a couple of days that lead to the discovery of the body of the driver. As for my experience, probably the worst for me, is maxing out my credit cards or borrowing money that it takes me sometime to pay. So it's hard to understand what's going in the mind of this 3 persons when they unalive a hapless man and get his money and then gamble.
Fortunately, no. I might be spending money in gambling, but I'm not getting affected negatively despite losing all of my money into it. For me, it all comes down to the mindset. Not caring too much of your money even though you lose it helps you think positively. Well, at least that's what I believe that's why gambling isn't affecting me negatively.

Maxing out a credit card is for me just "Level 1" of the many levels that an addicted gambler can do just to have money to gamble. What you shared is for me at "Level 5" which is at the peak meaning, they can commit a crime just to fulfill their gambling addiction which for me, is very disgusting. I'm not surprised though if some gamblers can do this because this is what happens if you're addicted to something. You can do even the most disgusting things that you can do and that includes killing somebody.

If you don't want gambling to affect you negatively, gambling only what you can afford to lose. If in investing, we always here the quote "Invest what you can afford to lose.", it's also the same in gambling. "Gamble what you can afford to lose." Cheesy
