Your reasoning does not take into account the fact that in order for a rich gambler to get as much pleasure as a poor one, he must risk much larger sums. From this, it can be concluded that their risks are roughly proportional, which means that a rich gambler, just like a poor one, can lose everything he has in gambling if he becomes addicted. Therefore, when it comes to gambling addiction, everyone is equal if they do not know how to limit and control themselves.
That's  what i keep telling people, when it comes to addiction there's no class, both the rich and poor suffers same effect of addictions. If you enter many rich home that they one or two gambling, drugs and alcohol addicted child. And see the pains the parents are going through, same pains the poor child parents faces too.

At the end they both loses money in gambling, either big or small, gambling addiction is a serious concerned in the society today, both the rich parents and poor are suffering it. We have to stake what we can afford to lose, then avoid playinmg gamble daily so it won't get into you.
