Been following EPL and La Liga games and of course I do watch all major Champions League games for ages now, I can boldly say that one two or three times, Rodrygo has engineered the win for Real Madrid in difficult situations. I can vividly remember this very encounter of Real Madrid Vs Manchester City were City were leading 4 - 2 on aggregate and with just few minutes to 90 minutes. If course the game was already done for and City were supposed to have qualified. I can't forget the probability of that game, City had 99% qualification chance while Real Madrid had just 1% qualification chance with less than 5 minutes to normal time and boom. Rodrygo scored twice in 2 minutes. Right now, that same Rodrygo is been pushed away despite the fact that he doesn't want to leave. Just few months of decline in performance and the club wants to throw him away. That's really sad.
despite his love for real madrid he has to swallow the bitter pill that xabi alonso is not prioritising him right now. the attacking position is now more emphasised on mbappé and vini, while for rodrygo it is only a reserve player. it's not a favourable position for rodrygo, especially since he's a young player and has so much potential, even though playing at real madrid has been his dream for a long time, but if it continues like this, his potential won't develop and he'll be wasted on the bench. so he also has to think about his future now, and i feel that if there's no future at real madrid, he should take an offer from liverpool or arsenal, that's better than an offer to the arab league.
If Rodrygo wants to develop, it's only right that he leave, as he won't be able to secure a starting spot at Real Madrid, and Xabi Alonso has already given him permission to leave.
There are currently several rumors, but Real Madrid is setting a high price for any team interested in signing Rodrygo, although that's understandable given that he's a young player with excellent quality.
Regardless of which team Rodrygo chooses, I still hope he joins a top European team, as that could significantly improve his career in the future.
