Setting a specific budget is really necessary as it teaches a gambler to be disciplined in gambling.
I think it is the other way around; you have to be disciplined to set a specific budget and stick to it. Setting a budget first will not make you disciplined.
A gambler will definitely deposit more if he doesn't have a fixed amount everytime he gambles.
A gambler will still deposit more if they have a fixed amount they deposit but no discipline.
What do you think?
This will just be a battle between oneself. Disciplined to follow budgeting or setting a budget, but not following it. The bottom line is really all about whether you would follow through on the things you set, and that would be you and you alone. Both are valid, but it takes the WILL to follow them. It's a balance.
No discipline means a certain loser.
it means you will go back and lose all your winnings.
Some discipline means you may be a winner some of the time. And then you won't go back and lose the next day.
