Honestly, I’m still not that convinced. Yeah, Chelsea beat PSG, but the premier league is a whole different level. Every team in the EPL pretty much knows Chelsea’s weaknesses. They’ve played each other so many times, teams like Liverpool already know how to deal with them. It’s not like the CWC game where Chelsea faced PSG; they barely ever play each other, maybe just once in the champions league a few years back. So for me, Chelsea’s performance boost doesn’t mean much, it only shows in non league matches. That said, I do get that Chelsea could improve in the EPL, even if the results don’t change much.
Up to this moment people are still doubting it even though the results is cleared, in the club World Cup surprise almost all the football fans because they're expectation was that PSG will defeat due to PSG performers this season, they have humiliated a lot of big teams which everyone taught that they are very strong we can defeat Chelsea but all in all this is football. I was very scared for Chelsea because they are involvement in the club World Cup will have a busy schedules for their players since other teams are resting and planning on how to start their next season while Chelsea and Manchester City are busy playing, but this victory will secure them a lot of chances because no teams will like to look down on them. This match also show that Chelsea have improved and I'm expecting to see good performance in them when the season starts.
