It's really hard to tell but for me the crypto currency space just evolved through the Years, if you look back in the early days of cryptocurrency the difference of then and now is that there is more widespread adoption now compared to before .
Even then 1983, an American cryptographer called David Chaum proposed a form of electronic cash also called e cash it was the first  attempts at creating digital currencies that ultimately failed, then Hashcash which was Developed in the mid-1990s, it was successful for some time but still failed non actually achieve what bitcoin achieved with that then the concept of stablecoins was not as prominent with Tether (USDT) being one of the first , people don't talk about all this because they prefer to continue advancing the Cryptospace which is good than look back at how it started .
 many things has happened in the Cryptospace that if you even start reading you won't stop .
