If Real Madrid wants Xabi Alonso to succeed in the team they need to sign more players, Real Madrid needs to sign defensive player and a controlling midfielder, Real Madrid lack those positions, the important one is the midfield because if we look at Real Madrid since last season they have been facing a lot of defeat that has cost them a lot of pain, defeating them in four El Classico games is very shameful thing that Real Madrid experienced last season, Real Madrid has been beating by top teams with more than 3 goals and if you are watching the game you will see that Real Madrid midfield is not good.

Xabi Alonso can’t succeed without having the type of players he wants, Real Madrid are looking for a player that can control the midfield and they have not get anyone, no one can blame Xabi Alonso for Real Madrid next season because the team did not do what will make the team look better, Real Madrid board needs to spend more money to get what the team want.
I honestly disagree that it was midfield that caused the trouble. With Camavinga/tcouhameni, and jude, and valverde, they have a great lineup of midfielders. And defensive midfielder could always be the duo of camavinga or tchouameni depending on which one is on form and which one is tired or booked or injured etc. They are not bad, getting someone to replace them makes no sense.

However, I understand they are rich, and that would make sense and we could see them make some great return if they buy some player because winning gives them so much more money. In this case I would assume that the best way to move forward would be just focusing on how to make money based on what they can achieve with new transfer, would it be difference between winning and losing?
