......................... I think Napoli is after the big money they will get from selling him to big club, and not after his choice of team and if they fail to sell him this season, he’ll become a free player which is what they’re also not ready to welcome. The toggle is still on about his transfer, I hope he gets the best team and depart from Napoli’s team without any issues.
Unfortunately, Napoli is not that stupid, Napoli really locked Viktor Osimhen, Napoli has contracted Osimhen until June 2026, and in the previous agreement if Osimhen does not move the club there will be an automatic extension for one year. Osimhen is a valuable asset for Napoli even though their relationship with the player is not harmonious, Napoli clearly does not want to lose the player for nothing, they want a big profit from the sale of the player.
The Osimhen transfer seems quite complicated, and Napoli themselves are holding back their desire to let him go, and the closure of Osimhen's move to Galatasaray seems to be facing problems. Napoli wants to make a significant profit on the player and will certainly consider selling him to a team willing to pay a high price. If Galatasaray fails to secure Osimhen's permanent deal, I'm sure a Saudi Arabian club will be Osimhen's next destination.
Although Osimhen himself once said he wanted to play for a much bigger team, the transfer scenario did not work out well and now other big teams in Europe seem to have lost interest in recruiting him because Napoli is asking a fairly high price.
The main issue isn't the player; Osimhen clearly wants to continue his professional career. He wants to stay in Europe, even if it's not in one of Europe's top five leagues. He has expressed his desire to remain at Galatasaray in the Turkish league. However, Napoli continues to delay Osimhen's transfer, even when the deal is almost finalized.
