This is an open question, maybe I could be wrong in the eye of some of you but am asking this question because a large number of addicted gamblers are not even up to a middle class standard but they are addicted. Can someone tell me why it's like that or is it totally a different case in your society, maybe an opposite of what I asking is happening in your own society. Poor people gets more addicted, following the middle class before it gets to the rich. Since it's like that, I think it's just the poor people that are gambling the most in the world, if am not correct, I stand to be corrected.
Addiction in gambling has nothing to do with class, the rich and poor can get addicted to it. The rich definitely lose more money than the poor and middle class, this is because they have more money to gamble with, on like the poor or middle class. The reason why people don't feel that the rich get addicted to gambling is because they are wealthy and have businesses that generate money for them, so they are not really affected when they lose, unlike the poor or middle class. Make no mistake when a rich person is addicted to gamble, they really lose a lot of money and also get big wins too.
Everyone can be addicted to gambling, rich, middle class or poor, there is no difference here, but the thing is in terms of mentality, the rich may be able to get out of it easily even after losing, because they have more wealth, and they have no worries about recovering their money, so they can accept their losses, but it is not the same in all cases, but most of the rich people can accept these things, so the possibility of addiction among them is somewhat less, but if we think about the poor, the money they gamble with is beyond their ability, and they can never accept their losses, and this is why they often face addiction.
