I've heard this thousands of times from people who say a spirit or some kind of entity, a saint, has cured their hernias, and so it seems impressive to me, I believe in healing, but not to the point where I do anything Sometimes fanaticism leads to believing in things that make no sense whatsoever.
Spirituality works with principles, in the context of gambling addiction it's not Wise to say that the person that's affected needs some kind of healing because logically it's an habit that the gambler has nursed over a long time and it can be dealt with through discipline and a lot of effort to quit but I think people tend to run away from the truth probably as a way to keep lying to themselves
