I agree with you. Having a solid strategy is cool but it doesn't really guarantee success in gambling and that's where a lot of gamblers often get it wrong, they often feel like strategies can actually guarantee consistent wins and that's why some of them go as far as copying someone else's strategy with hopes of securing constant wins in gambling. I mean what's the fun of copying someone's strategy when in the long run you still stand a chance of losing your money. I agree that it's a lot more fun when you adopt your own unique strategy, if you win, you know it was all you, and if you lose, you don't have to blame anyone else for your losses.
I believe that such people are blinded by gambling, so they rely entirely on the potential winnings they can achieve with their strategies. They often seek new strategies when their trusted strategies don't yield results, and this pattern continues until it becomes a recurring and difficult-to-break habit.
Losing at gambling shouldn't be blamed on others, not on the strategy itself, but on the loss itself. The one to blame is ourselves. When we decide to gamble, we should know we have a high chance of losing our deposited money. While strategies may help (perhaps), they don't guarantee a guaranteed win.

Nothing in this world is guaranteed, even when we go to school and graduate there's no promise of getting a job. That’s why having skills is just as important skills give us purpose and help us understand the reasons behind our decisions. When we fail, those skills allow us to learn from our losses, have fun and don't overdo gambling it will made us addicted.
