Luck plays a huge role when it comes to winning in gambling especially winning in the long run. But you cannot depend on luck at all times that is why skills are also important. These two goes together, just like i said, to win in the long run luck is required and the reason why I'm saying that is because having the knowledge or skill doesn't guarantee Profit overtime it just increases your chances of winning
Skill is important, but still, luck plays the key role in winning. I have seen a lot of gamblers gambling for many years. I believe they have the skills, but guess what, they are still struggling to win. It only means that without luck, we can't win. That is why it is difficult to rely on gambling because it won't guarantee winning even if we master it. So I say that gambling is not a do-or-die. We came with hope, not assurance. Knowledge and skill are our advantages, but not really the tools for winning.
I agree with you that luck is the most important factor in winning and skill increases our chances of winning. Year after year many gamblers are trying to improve their skills and gain a lot of experience but they still struggle to win but each bet brings them new experiences. You will see some new gamblers who start winning early and get inspired in the next gamble.
Even though those experienced gamblers have been struggling for many years to maximise their winnings, they are still not sure but they succeed in minimising their losses. They increase the amount of money on bets with a high chance of winning and allocate less money on bets with a relatively low chance. Experience enables them to apply their strategies and they gamble for the long term.
