From my perspective, i think if the company wants to increase the levels trust of its clients, it should clearly communicate that no upfront payments should be made until after the wallets have been successfully recovered. Additionally, to ensure that the recovered funds are not misappropriated, I believe that the clients' testimonies should serve as strong evidence of successful recoveries.  When recovering a wallet, it is important to provide the client with frequent updates on the recovery process and any potential risks in a virtually confidential manner.
You're right but it all depends on the services such company is rendering, if it is company that render the service of wallets recovery yea thats what they are supposed to do since they have already map out the percentage that will be given to them after a successful recovery of the wallet, it will raise an eye brow if they come up again to say that the client should pay them upfront, that'll will be generate suspicion among the clients, why it is not even adviseable for the walllet recovery not to ask for upfront pay is because, what if they were unable to recover the wallet even with the information available to them so what happens next, so will they be sending the money the were paid by the client to don't we think that is another waste of time or even waste of transaction fee depending on the mode by which the clients paid them with.
