I was not feeling comfortable about it anymore because I had that felling that I may have fallen addicted unknowingly. So I took it upon myself and decided not to gamble for atleast 1 month with attentiveness to observe the state of my emotions if it is going to feel troubled or worried over the while on the break.
Long story short, in one moment, you didn't feel comfortable gambling and decided to stop for a while. Smart move.
By the way, we are all addicts, and a healthy person has many addictions. As always, the only question is whether you can control it or not. It's important to prove to yourself that you can control it, and I think you have shown that you can with this post.
Sometimes you don't need to overthink and complicate things... and I know we all like our comfort zone, but sometimes it's good/wise/exciting/important to leave the comfort zone and try different things. Risk is one of life's essentials... without taking a risk here & there/now & then, we will never get far.
