I don't really understand why everyone is so excited about Mbeumo's move to United, because United gave away a huge amount of money, over €80m for one player and now United's transfer options have been reduced. Until United sell someone for good money, there may not be any other big purchases and Mbeumo will now be competing with Amod Diallo, one of United's most promising players at the moment.
I think selling or renting Heylund and Zirkise and buying 2-3 young and promising midfield and attacking players, would be better than just buying a very good forward like Mbeumo.

Everyone is exciting about Mbeumo's news because he's PL proven player. He's even far better compared to the Zirkzee and Hojlund combined. Look at the stats above how Mbeumo has superior stats than Hojlund and Zirkzee, but lower price. That's the reason why people so excited with him, and proof how Amorim is seriously willing to fix his club.
